Yamuna Expressway Route Map: Every Exit From Greater Noida to Agra, and What Is Being Built at Each

Most people see the Yamuna Expressway as 165 km of concrete between Greater Noida and the Taj. We see it as five exits, a stack of official master plans and a cluster of sectors where families are buying homes right now.

This is the Yamuna Expressway route map the way we actually drive it on a full-corridor site day, exit by exit, from Pari Chowk to Agra. At every stop we tell you what is there today, what is officially planned, and where to be careful. Every fact has a source.

Stop 1: Pari Chowk and the first YEIDA sectors

We start at Pari Chowk because that is where the expressway starts. Within a short drive, you are in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) belt, where most of today's buying happens.

Sector 22D alone has several projects on our list:

  • Gaur Alaris: 3 BHK homes by Gaurs, RERA UPRERAPRJ950965, per our page.
  • Eldeco Echoes of Eden: 2, 3 and 4 BHK homes, RERA registered, per our page.
  • ATS Province D Olympia: gated residential plots from 1,350 sq ft, RERA UPRERAPRJ556048, with declared completion in March 2028, per our page.

A little further, Imperia The Sephyra in Sports City, Sector 25, offers 2 and 4 BHK homes with RERA UPRERAPRJ761382 and a declared completion of July 2028, per our page.

Watch out for: the Film City in Sector 21. It is planned on nearly 1,000 acres, with Phase 1 on 230 acres, but YEIDA officials told the Free Press Journal in August 2026 that financial closure was still pending and construction could begin only after it. Do not pay a "Film City facing" premium for something that has not started.

Stop 2: Jewar and the airport

The Jewar interchange is the reason this corridor is on every investor's lips. Noida International Airport began commercial flights on 15 June 2026. On 9 October 2026, the UP Cabinet approved a proposal to name it Narendra Modi International Airport, Noida-Jewar. Our explainer on the Noida airport new name covers what is official and what is not.

Around Jewar, land is sold in four very different forms. Before you buy anything here, read plots near Jewar Airport: the 4 kinds and the checklist for each.

Stop 3: Tappal and the Aligarh side

Tappal is where many Delhi people stop paying attention. We do not. According to The Realty Today's March 2025 report on YEIDA's Master Plan 2031 Phase 2, the Tappal-Bajna urban centre in Aligarh district was approved in 2017, and a 364-acre logistics park is planned there.

The same report says Phase 2 of YEIDA's plan covers 2,593 sq km across Mathura, Agra, Aligarh and Hathras, compared with 759 sq km in Phase 1 in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr. In plain words: the authority's planned area beyond Jewar is more than three times the area closer to Greater Noida.

Watch out for: a master plan is a plan, not a road or a sewer line. Buy here only with clear title and a long time horizon.

Stop 4: Mathura, Vrindavan and Raya

The Mathura interchange connects to NH-530B. This stop has two personalities.

The first is pilgrimage and tourism. Vrindavan draws visitors every weekend, which is why rentals and small homes here behave differently from Greater Noida. We covered that in flats in Vrindavan and the Yamuna Expressway run.

The second is YEIDA's Raya urban centre. Its area was expanded from 9,366 hectares to 11,653 hectares in October 2024, and a 753-hectare heritage city estimated at ₹7,200 crore is planned, per The Realty Today. Our data story on YEIDA's Mathura heritage city and New Agra has the numbers.

Stop 5: Khandauli and Agra

The last two junctions are Khandauli (NH-509) and Kuberpur (NH-19), where the expressway ends near Agra. From here, Wikipedia notes an Agra inner ring road link towards the 302 km Agra-Lucknow Expressway.

YEIDA's New Agra urban centre is planned over 10,500 hectares along the expressway, and development has to follow Taj Trapezium Zone rules, per The Realty Today. If you are driving only for the Taj, use our Greater Noida to Agra by road plan, which has the tolls and timings.
