YEIDA's 92nd board meeting has cleared a 300-acre Taiwan City, a Medical Device Park and a Pharma manufacturing cluster, alongside a 90% jump in quarterly revenue. Here is what it means for property buyers.

YEIDA's 92nd Board Meeting: Taiwan City, a Medical Device Park and a 90% Revenue Jump, What It Means for Property Buyers

The Meeting That Just Reset the Yamuna Expressway Investment Map

On 18 August 2026, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) held its 92nd board meeting, and unlike most routine approvals, this one moved the needle. We covered YEIDA's 91st board meeting last month, when the Trade City proposal and a 114% revenue jump made headlines. A month later, the numbers have gotten even bigger, and the industrial map around Greater Noida and Jewar has gotten a lot more crowded.

Seedha number pe aate hain. YEIDA's receipts for FY 2025-26 stood at Rs 974.37 crore till 31 July. This financial year, that number has already touched Rs 1,853.74 crore, a jump of 90.25%. Industrial and mixed land scheme sales alone brought in Rs 1,195.99 crore. Against this, the authority's total expenditure stands at Rs 3,690.64 crore, most of it going straight into infrastructure that will decide how this belt looks five years from now.

What Got Approved, Project by Project

Here is the part that actually matters if you are tracking this corridor for investment.

Medical College, Sectors 13 and 14. A 500 acre medical education campus, one of the largest land allocations to come out of a single YEIDA board meeting in recent memory.

University and township, Sectors 14 and 36. 480 acres for a university and another 36 acres for the township around it, adding a fresh educational and residential anchor to the belt.

International Stadium, Sector 23B. 50 acres set aside for a sporting facility, sitting close to the upcoming International Bus Stand, also cleared in Sector 23B, right next to Noida International Airport.

Taiwan City, Sector 6. 300 acres earmarked for Taiwan linked industry, a serious signal that YEIDA is positioning this stretch as a genuine electronics and manufacturing hub, not just a housing corridor.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Cluster, Sector 6. Another 100 to 125 acres for a dedicated pharma cluster, sitting right alongside Taiwan City.

Medical Device Park. Approved in principle, adding a third specialised industrial vertical to the mix alongside pharma and electronics.

On top of this, the board cleared a service road and culvert in Village Agra (a village within the YEIDA belt, not the city) and revised land compensation rates for farmers whose land falls under these new schemes, a detail that matters because farmer relations directly affect how quickly acquisition and construction actually move.

Why This Matters More Than the Headline Numbers

A 90% revenue jump is a good headline. What it actually tells a buyer is different: demand for YEIDA land, industrial and residential both, is not slowing down, it is compounding. Every new anchor project, a medical college here, a Taiwan backed industrial zone there, adds a fresh reason for people to work, study or set up shop in this corridor, and every one of those people eventually needs a place to live nearby.

We have already written about how data centres and industrial corridors are quietly building end user demand across this belt. Taiwan City and the Pharma cluster fit the exact same pattern, industrial commitments that show up in job numbers and housing demand long before they show up in the headlines most buyers actually read.

If you are deciding between a plot and a flat while this industrial base builds up, our breakdown on YEIDA plot buying is worth reading before you commit either way. And if you want to see how this fits the full stretch of growth from Greater Noida down toward Agra, we have mapped that out too.

The Buyer's Takeaway

Do not buy land in Sector 6 or 23B just because the words "Taiwan City" or "Medical Device Park" sound exciting. Approvals are the first step in a long process, not a launch date. What you should actually do is track which sectors are getting these anchor approvals, confirm current scheme timelines directly with YEIDA, and treat every board meeting like this one as a signal of direction, not a shortcut to a decision.
